Eastern Ontario Fire Academy prides itself on providing quality training to municipal fire departments, commercial industry, and community college fire fighting training programs.
The EOFA is based in Norwood, a small village outside of the City of Peterborough Ontario. We have delivered emergency services training to personnel and agencies from: Peterborough, Northumberland, Hastings, Prince Edward Counties and the cities of Kawartha Lakes.
Our 20 acre site provides live training situations, including Search & Rescue Maze, Confined Space, 3 Storey Burn Tower, Flashover Unit, Survivor Unit, Shower Facility, Education Hall, 4 Classrooms and a Cafeteria.
| January 27, 2012 | Please note that the Company Officer 401 course starting on February 8 continuing every Wednesday evening to March 21 has now been cancelled. A new Company Officer 401 course has been scheduled for March 10/11 & 24/25, 2012. Please send in your registrations as soon as possible. | January 9, 2012 | There has been some additions to our course schedule: Company Officer 401 course has been added for 7 weeks from 1800-2200h starting on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 continuing every Wednesday to March 21, 2012. A new date has been added for Incident Management 200. This course will be offered on March 19 & 20, 2012. For information and to register for courses, please visit the schedule page. Please note that the IMS 200 on February 16 & 17, 2012 and February 23 & 24, 2012 is now full. Please register for the IMS 200 in March. |
| December 20, 2011 | Company Officer/Fire Prevention Officer 101 Course has been added to the January schedule at the EOFA.

| December 6, 2011 | The 2012 Eastern Ontario Fire Academy's current schedule and course descriptions have now been posted. Course availability is updated on a regular basis however; if a course is near the maximum participants it will be noted in the course informaton column to contact the administrative office at 705-639-2121 to ensure there is still space available. |
